The sun stands still….

What a very busy last few days! I’m not sure where to start…

Since last Tuesday I have not stopped! Every day comes along and I’m looking forward to ‘that early night!’ and it’s just not happened! Not that I’m complaining though because I’ve had a lot of fun. The strange thing being that I remember more than 50% of it all! A new record for me as you know. I am putting it down to the walks hikes I’ve been doing to get home each night. It certainly sobers you up! :D Anyone up for the marathon next year btw?

Yet again I managed to get up on Sunday after going to town the night before! Then play football in the park whilst enjoying the lovely sunshine, good company, and listening to T4’s Party On The Beach. Sorry to a certain person who seemed to be the target of most of my shots, it wasn’t intentional, I am really just that rubbish! This was followed up by a BBQ at home for fathers day ( mm BBQ… *drool* ) and a few more beers in town :)

I felt it today though. Not been too well but did manage to get some sleep tonight, well I’m awake now, but hopefully a few more hours will follow shortly. I’m definitely going to need it though, as I think that I’m rock climbing and abseiling tomorrow night! Seriously what is going on? What happened to me coming home from work and sleeping?! Where did all this fitness come into my life from? It’s getting scary :)

In less than two hours time at 4:58am to be precise, the sun will rise marking the high point of the solar year, the Summer Solstice. Which seems like a perfect time to get some sleep and leave you with this quote by Christina Aubin.

This being the season of passion, Midsummer is the perfect time to understand our passions, so we can utilize them correctly to take us to heights unseen, fuel our creativity, and bring us into realms unrealized in the logical mind. It is through this season that we can see the bounty of life, the intensity of being, the rapture of love, the exhilaration of awareness, and the possibilities of creation. This is the time to experience our passions and the force within, to be conscious of how we use them and the gifts they can bring, and experience true power.”

*Clears throat*…

AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHH!

The nightmare begins…

Well I managed to survive the cycle ride.. just. I’m not sure what was more embarassing, me, in uniform on a pink bike, or the fact that I was out ridden by a load of 11 to 14 year old Scouts?

Wish I had a cushion today at work tho!

Well tonight I’m off for a few hours down the local swimming pool ( to swim before Mr Baker chips in! ). Wish me luck although fingers crossed I’ve been enough recently that it won’t kill me :)

Btw, I wish to bring to your attention that I was in no way seen with or connected with said penguin last Thursday night. It was infact someone who just happened to look like me! ( stitching bastards )

After a long days work I read this and it made me chuckle, so here it is for you guys n girls…

“A student from Oxford was banged up overnight and fined £80 for calling a police horse “gay”.

Other than accepting the principle that gobby students should always suffer, I am at a loss as to who was the victim of this so-called crime.

Was the horse going to suffer post-traumatic stress from being branded a shirt-lifter? Would the other horses in the police stables poke fun at him and play him Shirley Bassey records all night?

Would he wake up to find his hooves painted bright pink?”

Well thats it from me for now, except to ask, how do you eat yours?!

Suicide Tuesday…

I finally managed to catch up on my sleep last night. Apart from waking up on the hour, every two hours, I managed to get about 10 hours sleep! A record since I’ve been back at work ( www.intY.com )

Today I feel wide awake and raring to go, which is a good thing as it’s soo busy at work today, and I’m helping out by taking the live incoming calls :(

It won’t last long though, as I’ve got to take a load of Scouts on a 2 hour cycle ride after work, and then have swimming tomorrow! Still as I keep getting told, it’s all good for me!

I got my car back last night and it finally sounds and drives how it used to. It’s so much nicer driving to work in a car that you enjoy driving, whilst listening to some good tunes with the sun shining down. Well it was good till I arrived at work 30 mins late due to a traffic jam on the motorway. But hey ho, 30 mins less work :)

Well that’s all for now, best do a few hours work before lunch. Oh and congratulations to a friend that soon to be starring on Most Haunted, well that or she’s gonna be spending a long time in a nice, warm, comfy padded cell! :D

The afternoon after. (2) …

Hmm I think I need to be more creative with my titles!

Well it’s Sunday again and I’ve survived two nights of drinking and clubbing, just. I feel so tired right now and very rough. It’s my own fault I know but when someone buys 20 tequila slammers, it’s rude not to accept one or two or three!

In the end I’m glad I did go out again, much to the amusement of my friends that I had told all day that I was having a quiet night in. After the hours of jumping and stomping around the dancefloor in Hobbits, we decided it would be a good idea to spend the rest of the night walking for miles and getting home at 7am! I know I want to start getting fit but I really can’t wait till I can afford the odd taxi :) Plus it will save a certain person the pleasure of my rather random drunken conversations :) Anyone know a good way to stop thinking about things far too much? Answers on a postcard to the usual address…

Did I say I feel really rough btw?!

I woke up at 4pm and then decided it would be a good idea to join the rest of my mates for a few hours of football. Now those of you who know me, know I’m not a Sunday person, especially after a night out. Which explains the laughter and applause I got as I staggered onto the pitch. It did almost kill me though, but at least it bought out some colour in me, mainly grass green and blood red!

What doesn’t kill us, hurts a lot…

Quote of the day: “So have you decided to stop being a tw*t yet? lol”

The afternoon after. (1) …

For as long as I can remember, which isn’t that long, I’ve always had trouble remembering things after a night out on the town…

And now I know why…

“A study in 1999 that examined the brains of alcoholics appeared to confirm this. Published in the journal Neuroscience, the research found that subjects who developed Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome, a severe disorder that ravages the memory and stems from a thiamine deficiency associated with alcoholism, had a marked reduction in cell density in the cerebellum.”

They should put warnings on alcohol saying “Warning: Drinking can cause memory loss, vomiting, and make you act like a muppet!”

Well last night was entertaining, starting in our usual meeting place, drinking copious amounts of alcohol and ending up with me, in quite a drunk state, dancing to every random song on the dance floor in Hobbits! Obviously I can’t remember much but it did seem to go quite quickly which is normally a sign that I’ve enjoyed myself. ( ssh! )

It did go downhill a bit after the club. Involving a friends fist, a wall and lots of blood, but then picked up again, with a long drunken stagger home and lots of random ramblings! Sadly, even though I obviously don’t remember them, I’m sure someone does!

Question: Can anyone remember how I bruised my arm?!

*LATE NEWS*

Here we go again…. doh!

I am so tired!

I don’t know whats up with me the past two weeks, but every night I come home from work and just want to go to bed!

I guess it’s because I’ve spent the last 8 months sat on my arse doing nothing all day, getting up at 2pm and going to bed at 4am. Now that I’m back at work though I’m really struggling. Can hardly even drag myself to the pub after work for a quick pint!

Thinking about it now, I can’t say that going swimming last night has helped. Although I should feel good as I’m trying to get into shape, it hasn’t helped that every muscle in my body aches, even ones I didn’t think existed!

By the way, has anyone seen the line up to Download 2005? I heard an advert for it on the way home tonight and it sounded really good! Garbage, System of a Down, The Used, Feeder and a hell of a lot more! Shame it’s this weekend though. Oh well maybe next year seeing as I missed my chance for Glasto too this year.

Anyway, I’m gonna get some sleep now so I have an ounce of energy for tomorrow night ( Hobbits again…. Damn you Mr Baker!!! Raaaaar ) :D

Thoughts so far?

Hi everyone ( well I don’t think anyone is reading this yet! but anyways… ).

Forget the lack of content, but I was just wondering what you think of the design so far?
