Worst logo ever…

I’ve got a day off today so to get away from work and spending all day infront of a computer, I have decided to… damit, ok I’m sat here at home surfing the net!

Anyway, I was doing some random browsing and came across this unfortunate logo.

It could be fake, but still made me laugh.

If anyone has any other funny logos or signs then feel free to link to them on here :)

Ok, time to do some non computer related stuff! I’ll probably be out tonight so may catch some of you later. If not, have a great weekend :)

Pants…

Bit of a shite weekend, was ill for two days! At least I saved some money by not going out on Saturday. Well, to cheer me up, here’s a small poem about yours truly!

Andrew is just flippin’ cool,
a well-smart dude it’s true.
He’s just great, a right smart mate,
and funky through and through.

Well, good luck to Tina who’s going for her operation this week. Don’t worry, you’ll be in good hands *cough* and look on the brightside, no work and all the grapes you can wish for!

The Butterfly Effect…

There are so many times that I wish I could go back in time and change what I’ve just done. Save myself from embarrassment, stop myself from getting hurt or hurting someone else.

Wouldn’t it be nice, just to be able to change even just one mistake you have made and then start again and live a more happier and perfect life.

Sadly, and I hope this won’t shock you, but it’s not possible! We are to play this game with the hand we are dealt and if we lose a few rounds then hopefully we pick ourselves up, deal again, learn from our mistakes and ultimately come up with a Royal Flush. Well ok, more like a pair but it’s better than nowt!

Anyways, I’ve just finished watching The Butterfly Effect which stars Ashton Kutcher ( who we normally see in comedy roles ) as Evan Treborn, a young man who strangely blacks out the bad memories in his life. The story follows him as he grows up and finds a way to remember those lost memories and a supernatural way to alter his life.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this film as I’d managed to avoid all the trailors and spoilers, which I try to do with most films, but I was very impressed and glad that I’d watched it. It’s not a film to watch if you want to spend a few hours being entertained and amused, but it’s definately moving and will get you thinking. It reminds me a lot of Donnie Darko which follows a teenager, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, who escapes death and then is driven to manipulate a chain of events that will change the lives of himself and those around him.

Well, seeing as I’m now in such a cheerful and happy mood *cough* I think it’s time to hit the sack. At least there’s only two more working days left before the weekend. Good friends, good music and sometimes good beer. That’s something to look forward to at least.

Happy New Year …

I hope everyone has a great year in 2006 and all your wishes come true.
